Chelsea, NY —  The Chelsea Film Festival (CFF) announces today its official partnership with The Hollywood Reporter to present CFF First Annual Celebrity "Women in Power" Benefit Luncheon. This celebratory event will mark the pre-opening of the festival's 5th year anniversary. It will take place on Wednesday, October 18th at LaDurée Soho in New York City at 12pm.

There will be a panel conversation among Celebrity Women Founders/Leaders. As CFF Founder Ingrid Jean-Baptiste stated:

"Our goal is to share the inspiring stories of powerful women in various industries (i.e. Film, Technology, Fashion, Sports, etc.) and understand what their challenges are even at the top of their game! - Today marks the unfortunate passing of French Politician, Holocaust Survivor and Abortion Pioneer, Simone Weil, who fought a great battle for women's rights. In her spirit and many other women activists, I will continue to fight for our next generation."

Event Working Title: "Celebrity Women in Leadership Positions: How did they make it to the top?"
