The Montreal International Animation Film Festival (MIAFF), presented by Animaze, is holding a press conference at the McCord Museum to kick off the 4th edition of the festival. The official programming of the festival, its events, and this year’s invited guest speakers will be announced. Local Montreal filmmakers, the Red Cross, community associations, and entrepreneurs in film and virtual reality, will also be present.

Info: The MIAFF, whose mission is to converge all animation and virtual reality mediums within a cultural festival, is holding a press conference to unveil its official program, list of events, workshops, and guest speakers. Ms. Laurie Gordon, and Ms. Josée Payant, will also explain that festival goers will have the opportunity to see the heroic actions undertaken by Swiss Doctor Marcel Junod, who worked with the Red Cross, through the Japanese animated film, Junod. The MIAFF will also announce a new partnership with the Golden Square Mile. The McCord Museum, in partnership with MIAFF, will also be hosting famed political cartoonist “Aislin” later that same day, at 6:00 pm, to discuss his work and career.
