The Seventh Symphony ‘Seven gates of Jerusalem’ is of remarkable scope. It bears witness to an introspective thought about faith, based on texts of the Book of Psalms by David, the Old Testament. This work for soloists, choir and orchestra, composed in honor of the city of Jerusalem, evokes an oratorio.

“The Perfect Place” tells the story of a couple looking to recapture the spark they once had. Scottish Ballet and BBC created “The Perfect Place” using 360° technology. It is the first film of its kind, with choreography and narrative created specifically for the medium.

360° Figaro is a music film shot in virtual reality: an opera scene, conceived and staged exclusively for this new medium, live performed both vocally and instrumentally. The viewer will be placed right in the centre of the performance which is staged exclusively for him.

15:10 - 15:40: TALK “REAL VIRTUAL CONCERT HALL – FROM BONN OUT INTO THE WORLD“ - Presented by Beethoven Anniversary Society

The Beethoven Anniversary in 2020 offers an occasion to develop a vision for a 21st Century concert hall which - fully in the spirit of Beethoven - is untethered from a 200-year tradition. The Real Virtual Concert Hall is a visually and acoustically fully transformable 360-degree environment.

15:40 - 16:10: TALK “BUSKERS - AN INTERACTIVE LIVE EVENT AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN & TV/WEB SERIES“ - Presented by klangmalerei.tv

The Buskers are a group of five digital natives who team up to travel Europe the #vanlife style and discover the continent’s most wanted street musicians. They will be constantly sharing their adventures via various social media channels and in return their followers will be shaping their trip across Europe.

16:10 - 16:30: TALK “UAXUCTUM 360°“ - Presented by Les Films de la Butte

Giacinto Scelsi composed his music in a state of mystical trance. With “Uaxuctum 360” the audience can experience this physical and mental state Scelsi himself would try to reach through music composition.

16:30 - 16:50: TALK “A JERUSALEM EXPERIENCE – TELLING FICTIONAL STORIES IN VR“ - Presented by Medea Film Factory

Dani Levy explores the experiences and challenges of Telling fictional stories in VR, using the examples of four short films illuminating the Middle East conflict from an Israel and Palestinian perspective.

16:50 - 17:15: TALK “SONG ALL AROUND YOU“ - Presented by Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Choirs

The Danish National Girls’ Choir continuously innovates its media content together with the choir’s artistic profile. Most recently, the Danish National Girls’ Choir has explored the creation of new content on an open innovation platform with private commercial partners.

17:15 - 18:15: “VIENNA GREETS EUROPE: BAROQUE TREASURES – MUSICA SACRA“ - Presented by ORF Enterprise and Scarlatti Arts International

Maestro Rubén Dubrovsky presents his vision of spreading the message of unity through music together with his Bach Consort Wien in travelling Easter Concerts. This presentation is followed by a rousing reception.

18:30 - 19:30: “BARBARA HANNIGAN – TAKING RISKS (WT)“ - Presented by Accentus Music and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra

Multifaceted artist Barbara Hannigan will be attending to present this documentary project that accompanied the conductor and singer while preparing her first opera production. The Special Presentation is followed by a glamourous reception.
