The Africa Film Academy (AFA) aims to promote the training, lobbying, and the overall development of young professions in the Film industry, striving to maximise their full potential in an industry where there are limitless possibilities and always capacity for more. The Advisory Board of the AFA is headed by renowned American actor Danny Glover who has continued to support the AMAA legacy from inception.The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) is the most prestigious film awards for black filmmakers, from within the African continent, to its extensive sphere of influence spanning from South America to the Caribbean Islands.
Entries are open to all black filmmakers, who appreciate recognition as well as reward for their work in cinema on the acclaimed AMAA platform.

SEND YOUR SUBMISSIONS ON DVD
1. View your film submission(s) at http://www.ama-awards.com/submissions/myfilms (you need to be logged in), select 'Printer Version' and print 3 copies included in your submission. AMAA Jury needs to have your information related to each of your films when viewing the film.
2. Send 3 DVD copies of your film for Jury Consideration to any of the following offices:
