The most unique difference between entering FLIFF and your ordinary film festival, is opportunity. When you submit your film to FLIFF you are automatically entered for consideration into:

  • 28th Annual FLIFF October 18 - November 11, 2013
  • FLIFF On-Location: Sunrise October 19 - November 9, 2013
  • FLIFF On-Location: Pompano Sunrise October 19 - November 9, 2013
  • FLIFF On-Location: Grand Bahama Island October 24 - 27, 2013
  • FLIFF On-Location: St Augustine January 16 - 19, 2014

...and if that isn't enough, for a commercial run at Cinema Paradiso (FLIFF's year-round arthouse).

We recommend that you enter through:

Your Entry

Send a DVD in a padded envelope.

Do not go crazy sealing or taping your package.

Do not send in a padded envelope that has stuffing (we hate those things and they gunk up our playback units).

If you are a student, you must submit the name of your school to be listed in the catalog.  And don't make us go hunting for that info...use a Sharpie and write it directly on your DVD.

If possible (and we know it is), don't have a paper sticker on your DVD.

Do not send your package with Signature Required...if you do, we cannot guarantee we will schlep to the Post Office to pick it up.  Its a pain...and we remember that when we are reviewing your entry!

RULES

1) Films must be Florida Premieres, unless they are Florida produced Films, then they only have to be South Florida Premieres.

2) Once submitted, a film cannot be withdrawn from consideration.

3) If a film is selected for acceptance into the Official program, it cannot be withdrawn for any reason by the filmmaker.

4) If a film is submitted with incorrect, erroneous or false information, FLIFF reserves the right to disqualify the film from consideration and the entry fee will not be returned.

5) Entries will not be returned.

6) FLIFF will post the accepted entries on its Facebook page.  This may constitute the only form of acknowledgment for those not accepted.

7) Entries must be received, not postmarked, by the dates outlined above to qualify for fees and/or acceptance of entry.
