Yesterday the sponsorship agreement was signed between the Keler beer brand and the San Sebastian International Festival.
José Rebordinos, Director of the San Sebastian Festival, and Daniel Idigoras, Head of Keler, renewed the agreement for the coming five editions under which Keler will remain in place as a Festival sponsor and its official beer.
As in previous years, on the Kursaal Auditorium terrace, Keler will install its “Keler Moments” tent, a meeting place for movie lovers and personalities from the world of culture and the city where they can enjoy Keler beer accompanied by some of San Sebastian’s typical gastronomy served as pintxos.
Actors, actresses and directors attending the Festival will visit the tent, as will personalities from the film world. It will be open to the public and different DJs will provide the musical ambience.
On the other hand, the Espacio Keler (Paseo Ramón María Lili 2) will once again host a number of parallel activities on these dates: exhibitions, talks, book launches, etc. related to the Festival.
For Keler, this agreement has a special meaning since the San Sebastian Festival represents many of the values that identify with the beer brand, such as its character, cultural backing and community spirit. Character, because Keler is a beer with personality, flavour and body that make it unique. Cultural backing, because Keler always accompanies events in society; and community spirit, for the proximity it has shown over its more than 125 years of history with Basque society.
Keler is a beer that has existed in the Basque Country since master beer makers Juan and Teodoro Kutz set up the business in 1890. Throughout its history, the brand has continued to use the original recipe of its founders, thereby forging very peculiar characteristics highly appreciated among its consumers.
Keler is a beer characterised by its body and flavour and by its modern, contemporary, innovative design with a visual identity that expresses its personality.
This sponsorship with the San Sebastian Festival since 2011 represents a commitment to culture by Keler, which maintains strong connections with the world of cinema.
