The 39th edition of the Montreal World Film Festival gets with the times. A digital age requires a digital solution. Over 86 countries will be represented in its 2015 edition, a new record. We wanted to allow domestic and international media simultaneous access to the line-up of films in the World Competition and the First Films Competition. This announcement will be accompanied by an online discussion open to journalists from anywhere and the MWFF will respond directly via chat mode to questions. This virtual conference was held Tuesday August 11, 2015 beginning 11 am Eastern Time followed by Q & A until 1 pm.
