The first annual West Texas Film Festival has selected a lineup of three short films and a Spaghetti Western feature film for their opening night gala on Thursday October 13th. The lineup includes:
There Was a Place/Hublo un Lugar (Spain) - Irene Garces (Director)
Like a Star (Italy) - Daniele Bonarini
Lightning in the Hand (USA) - Joey Grossfield
Ace High (Italy) - Giuseppi Colizzi
The opening night gala will include a spaghetti dinner catered by Curb Side Bistro and will take place in The Rose Building in beautiful downtown Odessa, Texas. WTXFF Programming Director, Harlan Whatley, said, "The evening is an homage to the Spaghetti Western genre where films are directed by Italian directors, filmed in Spain and depict American cowboys and outlaws. Hence, we have an evening of films from Italy, Spain and the USA."
Ticket opportunities will soon be available for the West Texas Film Festival at www.westtexasfilm.org
