About Columbia Gorge International Film Festival
Columbia Gorge International Film Festival, traditionally held in the scenic and majestic setting of Pacific North West just outside of Portland, OR, brings together world-class cinema, new filmmaking talent, industry veterans, and audiences from around the world to celebrate films amidst the inspiring natural beauty of the Columbia River. Originally founded as the Washougal International Film Festival in 2008, the festival has grown to incorporate more of the region with various artistic events. The intent is to unlock the creative mind of the public by providing unique movie-going experiences and also support emerging filmmakers with the opportunity to be inspired by our natural environment.
Columbia Gorge International Film Festival is proud to partner with sponsors who support the arts and emerging artists. In our ninth year, the festival has grown to be a vital part of the community it thrives in.
And while the festival searches for a new permanent headquarters in the North West, it is excited to be on a tour of the West Coast, and visit various nature based communities who support the arts.
Columbia Gorge International Film Festival is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization in collaboration with ANGAELICA, an arts and ecology organization founded in 2007 by Breven Angaelica Warren.
