Göteborg Film Festival, celebrating its 41st edition in 2018, is the leading film festival in Scandinavia, with 135 000 admissions, screening 450 features and shorts from 80 countries. Göteborg Film Festival is proud to present one of the largest festival awards in the world - the Dragon Award for Best Nordic Film with a prize sum of 1 million SEK (€100 000) - as well as a number of other prizes including the Ingmar Bergman International Debut Award and the Dragon Award for Best Nordic Documentary.
The festival hosts the major industry platform of the region, Nordic Film Market, presenting films and upcoming works from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
