Good day from Cannes,
I'm making up for some extra time I took for myself the last few days with a few extra blog entries today!
If it looks larger than life it is! The signs are up and this is where it will all take place. More photos coming as tents already go up all around the building to support such an event! It is about a 20 minute walk for me to get here and it is something I look forward to daily are the amazing walks but also seeing how this tiny town will transform to host this amazing event.
I purchased my official to add to my others its the same as what you see in the background. I thought it best to buy now since soon it will be impossible to even get in the doors not to mention the lines. There is a tour offered here by the office of tourism on the history of the 70 years of the festival I can't wait to do tomorrow!
I figured the gelato is allowed when you walk daily its a reward. I'm hoping that balances out after my 30 days if I say that everyday.
I am finding more and more as each day goes by to just take it all in and not miss a minute of what I'm able to see and feel here in the amazing journey.
