The Montclair Film Festival (MFF) today announced that it has received funding to support urgently needed capacity building projects for the organization’s expansion into its new, year-round home at the Investors Bank Film & Media Center. Additionally, the MFF has been awarded expanded funding from multiple foundations for its ongoing mission to provide the best in film and media arts education.
The New Jersey Cultural Trust awarded funding in the amount of $40,000, to the MFF through the Cultural Trust’s Institutional and Financial Stabilization grant program. This funding supports the MFF’s acquisition, development, and deployment of the Patron Manager CRM system, which operates on the trusted Salesforce™ platform and provides much-needed integration of MFF’s multiple Member, Sponsor, Donor, and ticketing systems into a single organizational management platform.
The Montclair Foundation awarded $2,500 to the MFF to support the one-time purchase of ticketing equipment for the Investors Bank Film & Media Center, the MFF’s new home and headquarters in downtown Montclair.
Additionally, the MFF received $30,000 from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and received a Citation of Excellence for achieving the highest standards of excellence as recognized by the MFF’s peers, as well as a $25,000 grant from the Horizon Foundation Of New Jersey, and $22,750 grant from the New Jersey Division Of Travel and Tourism.

The Investors Bank Film and Media Center is scheduled to open in April 2017.
The 2017 Montclair Film Festival takes place April 28- May 7, 2017.

The New Jersey Cultural Trust was created in July 2000 as a public/private partnership to help ensure a stable and healthy nonprofit cultural industry in New Jersey that is sustainable even in the toughest of economic times.
