When and Where?
The event will take place between the 20th and 25th of June 2017 in Espinho, a tourism orientated city and one of the summer hotspots of Portugal, 15 minutes south of Porto along the sea coastline.
All activities will be held in Centro Multimeios de Espinho, a modern infrastructure with high quality projection, a planetarium with an IMAX screen and free wireless Internet.

FEST Pitching Forum and FEST Industry Meetings
Parallel to FEST Training Ground, we also host FEST Pitching Forum, a singular opportunity for upcoming filmmakers to pitch their projects to top industry producers, financiers, fund managers and investors.
In a 5 minute pitch, each participant will have the chance to unravel their project, in whatever way seems more appropriate.
The FEST Industry Meetings are a platform where some of our most accomplished guests will be available for one-on-one advice on project development; this will be an extremely valuable tool for advanced participants wanting an input on their project development.

Training Ground is an all-in-one program: participants may enjoy a six-day deluxe training program, and also be able to attend the screenings of FEST New Directors | New Films Festival.
The beautiful sea-coast city of Espinho, one of the most popular summer locations in the country, will serve as scenery for this amazing week.
